Once Ronald figured out how to negotiate a settlement directly with his timeshare company, he received a Quit- Claim Deed officially releasing him from all contractual obligations.The entire process, once a settlement offer is provided, is approximately eight months. However, aside from the settlement amount required, the account is likely to be put on hold (as it was in his case) and no maintenance fees were due or requested pending the results of the buyback process.
